EAs need 72 hours every three year renewal "cycle." You must complete at least two hours of Ethics CE every year. You can log into your PTIN account to see how many hours you've already done. Here too is chart from IRS that shows the EA CE requirements.

The IRS sets a deadline of December 31 for you to complete CE hours that apply to that calendar year. For this reason, you'll need to complete any courses contained in this bundle by December 31 if you want to receive credit with IRS.
